The easiest way to fund donations is through our Just Giving page. Catastrophic injuries are not to be expected, but may occur; However, we believe that our participants should be aware of the possibility. These injuries may include permanent disabilities, spinal injuries and paralysis, stroke, heart attack and even death. In May 2017, Tough Mudder launched an extension of the fitness studio brand, Tough Mudder Bootcamp. The first two franchises, Las Vegas and Burlington, Massachusetts, were opened in April 2018.   Franchises cost $50,000, with total start-up costs ranging from 200K to 300K  Ten franchises were sold and more than 65 were booked in the United States.  Bootcamps offer 45-minute courses for 24 participants and are designed to work with a partner. The courses are led by a course director with the help of a proprietary technology platform that guides participants through each class position.  In summary, the RR event is a dangerous activity that presents a difficult physical and mental challenge for participants. No alcohol should be brought from outside to the runners` village. Alcoholic beverages that have not been served by our bar are seized. This is due to licensing restrictions that we have to comply with. The organizer reserves the right to remove participants from the event at any time or to prevent participants from participating in the event and future events if it believes that such measures are necessary, at the sole discretion of the organizers, for security reasons or for the proper enjoyment of the event by other participants or for any other reasonable reason.
The refund of the fee is not made if the participant acted negligently, intentionally, intentionally or otherwise, without the necessary diligence and attention to the event or other participants, in order to ensure its removal/disqualification; the athletes mentioned may also be threatened with a lifetime ban on all events. In the fall of 2017, Tough Mudder and Facebook announced a new digital partnership in which Tough Mudder will provide original live sports and fitness programs for facebook Watch. The program includes the exclusive broadcast of the new $50,000 Tougher Mudder Championship race series, which began on October 7 and included views of several obstacles, participants` “head cameras,” drone images and hosted comments. In addition, viewers will be able to watch the weekly live broadcasts from Tough Mudder Mudder`s gym, where viewers can get in shape and train with a partner. With this agreement, all Tough Mudder competition series have a video/broadcast house with important partners.    The company`s most-watched show on Facebook Watch – the final of the world`s hardest mudder in November 2017 reached 1.2 million viewers.   In February 2020, the Federal Court and Spartan Race entered into an agreement that gave them full possession of Tough Mudder. Tough Mudder is expected to continue racing and the 2020 season will start on 17 April in north London.  The Tough Mudder brand has been enriched by focusing and using it in common with shared content focused on workout tips and inspiring stories from participants, with an emphasis on video and live streaming.  A dozen live and Facebook events averaged 723,316 views, with a global reach of 42.5 million.
In June 2016, the event in Tahoe was seen by millions on Snapchat.  In 2016, Season 2 of the weekly training series “Coachified” had more than 3.5 million views on Facebook.  The Tough Mudders YouTube channel has more than 85.7 million views, 23% more than in May.  In the United States, none of the revenue from The Mudder Approvals sales goes directly to a charity.  However, participants are inspired by the Organization Tough Mudder to raise funds for a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project by participating in a Tough Mudder event.
